Does it Hurt?
Unfortunately can be uncomfortable to remove it, but can be minimise any discomfort with anaesthetic cream and a special cooling machine to reduce the sting of the laser treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Using the Kirby-Desai Scale we can get the best results after each session.
Between 6 to 8 weeks a part you will notice the body healing and the tattoo lightening.
Precautions:
While you are having a tattoo removed, you must not expose that area to the sun before, during and for some weeks following the treatment. At Surry Hills Laser and Cosmetic, a full assessment is made during your free consultation and recommendations will be made. Side effects are usually temporary and can be mild, rarely can they be severe, and they are:
Bacterial Infections - Keep the area uncovered and dry. After 24 hours start applying Bepanthen First Aid cream to assist the healing process. Always observe a good Hygiene practice.
Loss of colour - The skin can take up to 6 months to go back to the original colour.
Skin becomes darker - Use fading cream
Possible scarring - Normal caused for some Sun exposure and mire sensitive areas.
